I would like to introduce ourselves as Robyn and Richard, a couple new to the concept of house sitting. We have however used it ourselves to have our house sat for a long term assignment utilizing house sitters, we are aware of the responsibilities and expectations involved.
Having grown up on farming properties in the New England area of NSW, we now reside in Townsville. Our lifestyle has shifted towards being retirees who enjoy exploring Australia, with no intention of traveling overseas. As part of our daily routine, we care for our three wonderful grandpuppies, which gives us great joy while their human mothers are at work.
Our background in farming equips us with practical skills in maintenance and cleaning, making us well-suited for house sitting, particularly in rural areas, as we are not fans of city life. We pride ourselves on being fit and energetic, with a love for walking and swimming, ensuring that we are both active and engaged during our time in the houses we care for.
