I've recently returned from living in the South of France for three years, renovating a couple of houses and writing my long-neglected novel (finished it! Yay!). I did my two weeks quarantine (after about nine months lockdown in France), tested negative to COVID six times inside three weeks and am now fully vaccinated. I'm as COVID-free as anyone could be. As a mature, experienced person, I'm house proud. I love to cook (but also to eat out at restaurants). I love animals - both dogs and cats (cats are my secret favourite but nothing replaces a good dog walk). I have a part time (.6 to .8) job that requires me to work from home occasionally. I have seven grandchildren (five in Melbourne) and love to visit them and hang out with them. Given that I've recently returned and don't have a recent Australian renting record, I'm houseless and am struggling to break into Melbourne's tough rental market. My part time income isn't helping with that. Got a house for me? I'm happy to try anywhere.
