Hi, my name is Samantha. I am friendly, kind, reliable, resourceful, organised and above all honest.
I have been a Personal Development, Health and Physical Education teacher for 25 years. I am also a qualified fitness instructor. I am from a small rural town in North West NSW, although I have lived in many different places. I have raised 2 boys whilst paying off a house and having a professional career. I have taken a year’s leave without pay to support my son as he has just been accepted into Sydney Dance Company Pre-Professional Year. So……. I towed my van here to Sydney and that is where I stay in between house sits. My eldest son is at University at Darwin.
I also hold Medium Rigid Vehicle, Motorbike, and Boat licenses.
I own 2 houses, so am fully aware of the maintenance and procedures involved in running a house and household. I will keep your gardens well maintained and ensure that your house is kept to a high standard. I approach my home sits and pet care as employment and as such you are my boss :). You will find that I will more than meet all your requirements. I consider that; it is my job is to make your time away and your return as simple, stress free and pleasant as possible.
I have found that I love helping people to feel comfortable with walking out and forgetting!
Over the years, I have owned a variety of pets including: fish, birds, cats, dogs etc and have looked after chooks. I will happily look after your animals while you are away and if past experience is anything to go by; fall in love with them and miss them when I'm gone. I am currently nearing the end of a sit in Heathcote where I have the pleasure of looking after 1 dog, 1 bird, 3 fish and 2 chooks:)
I will be working part time at Loreto Normanhurst until the end of the year and would like to find house sitting opportunities on the north side.
