Liam and I are both professionals who enjoy traveling, socialising and spending time with family and friends. We have been together since 2007 and recently got married. Liam grew up in Adelaide, whereas I am originally from Scotland and moved to Adelaide in 2012. I received my permanent residency for Australia last year.

We married last year and are hoping to buy our own home in the near(ish) future. We thought that house sitting would be an excellent way to be able to save money and would also allow us to spend time living in different areas of Adelaide, enabling us to get a feel for different areas of the city.

Liam is an accountant and graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2012. He works full-time in the city for a medium sized accounting firm, and specializes in enabling small business to maximise productivity via cloud based technology.
I am a social worker, and graduated from the University of Dundee (Scotland) in 2010. Since living in Australia, I have worked for Uniting Care Wesley Bowden and my client base has mainly been with vulnerable adults who are homeless. As a result of my work, I have a current Police Safety Clearance for working with vulnerable adults and children. I have also completed "Child Safe Environments" training. Both certificates are available if required.
We can both provide references from employers if also required.

While living in Scotland, I volunteered for the Greyhound Awareness League (GAL), which rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed ex-racing greyhounds. My role included carrying out home checks for prospective greyhound owners and collecting retired or injured greyhounds from racetracks or trainers. I am a passionate advocate for greyhound well-being and have fostered over 50 greyhounds since 2005 (reference from GAL's animal behaviorist, Dr Laura Dixon, available on request).
While both Liam and I were growing up, we have had a combined six dogs, several cats, rabbits, ducks, chickens, gerbils, hamsters and one bearded dragon, so we have strong understanding on how to care for a variety of animals. We are both animal lovers, and would care for your animals as if they were our own.
Sadly, we do not currently have any animals as we have been renting for the last few years, but would be very happy and honoured to care for pets while we house-sit.

Of course, we are equally happy to house-sit homes that are pet free, and would treat your house as if it were our own.
We are currently living with Liam's parents in Mitcham, but are able to provide references from our most recent landlord - we rented from Turner Real Estate from October 2012 till October 2016.
References from prior rentals in Scotland can also be provided if required.
