Thank you for reviewing my profile.

Leaving your home, pets and plant life in the care of someone you may not know very well calls for trusting the person you give this responsibility to. You want to have peace of mind and be relaxed about your choice whilst you are away.

I offer this to you and more.

I have been described by my family, friends and colleagues as reliable, trustworthy and respectful. And my working life reflects these qualities and values. For over 25 years I have been offering people counselling services and whilst I do at times, provide counselling in person within a multi-disciplinary clinic, my work currently is mainly online and over the phone; so I can spend my days at your home attending to all that might require my attention - including your pets.

I love all animals, though admittedly I do have a soft spot for the feline, particularly those that enjoy pats and spending time on my lap. I have been a custodian of both a dog and a cat, during childhood and again in adulthood. And I know them to be precious, sensitive, intelligent beings that grace our families with unconditional love, and in fact they are family.

I have lived in Melbourne all my life and am embarking on the housesitting experience in order to familiarise myself with the next suburb I wish to call home. And I would also welcome and treasure the opportunity to care for people’s pets until the time comes around again, when I am ready to find my next long-term four-legged companion.

I am new to Mind a Home.
