Introduction:
Hello! We are Wade and Shanay, an Australian couple in our late 20s. Wade hails from Sydney, while Shanay is originally from Lake Macquarie. We’ve been together for 4 years and have both called various areas of Sydney home, including Turramurra, Bondi, Five Dock, Baulkham Hills and Crows Nest home.

A little about us:
Wade grew up with Staffies and is very comfortable with all dog breeds. He is currently a business analyst and works from home 2 days per week. His interests include Brazilian jiu jitsu, surfing and skiing. Shanay works in ecommerce and has flexible working arrangements. She has lived with various pets including dogs, cats, chickens and turtles. Shanay's interests include hiking, cycling and long-walks (perfect for an active dog).

Our experience:
We have completed numerous house sits across Sydney ranging from smaller apartments to large family homes. We have looked after dog breeds including Cavoodles, Labradoodles, Greyhounds, Staffies, Beagles, King Cavalier Charles, Scottish terrier, a Pointer, various cat breeds and a guinea pig. Our responsibilities have included daily walks, feeding, medication, lots of pats, gardening and general house chores. We have also looked after a variety of rescue dogs and elderly animals that have a range of special needs.

Why We Want to House Sit:
We have moving to Lake Macquarie to save for our future home together. House sitting provides us the opportunity to return to Sydney and go into the office. We have been doing this full time since December and it’s been an incredible experience. Read more...
