Hello!
We're a mature self-employed couple, free for long term stays, experienced in caring for dogs, cats, horses, chickens, fish… you name it.
Since the passing of our own senior fur-babies in 2019 and 2021 we have set ourselves up with a nomadic lifestyle. We travel frequently between Victoria and Queensland to be close to family, and fit in as many overseas trips as we can manage (we are in the process of building a little beach house in the Philippines).
Emma grew up on a farm and has an employment background in hospitality management and veterinary administration support including a period training as a vet nurse.
Shannon has been a professional musician for most of his life. During COVID he also gained qualifications in aged care and disability support, with all relevant and up to date security checks still valid. Shannon also has a reputation for being a bit of a dog whisperer, he even befriends the cranky street dogs in Asia!
We both now work online for the Australian Music Association which allows us a lot of flexibility with our travels.
Since our first house-sit in May 2023, we have been lucky to work with some amazing clients and have met so many beautiful fur-friends, many of which have become regular clients around the Sunshine Coast.
