More information about this house sitter

It has now been over 4 years since we 'hit-the-road' travelling with our camper-trailer. We haven't had to pop the camper-trailer much over those years as we have been fortunate enough to have cared for 52 homes which have included repeats.

Almost all the homes we have looked after have had pets of all different varieties and needs. So far we have cared for dogs (big, small, and show dogs), cats, birds, fish, chickens, geese, ducks, cows, alpacas, guinea pigs, frogs, axolotls, rats, a horse, a goat, a hare, a rabbit, a turtle, and even snakes.

Our family consists of myself, my partner Nelson who works from "home" as an Engineering Draftsperson, and my two daughters Melika (6) and Willow (1). Because Melika has grown up in other people's homes, she knows not to touch things that don't belong to her. As for Willow, she is very rarely out of our sight and is also learning to be respectful of other people's property as she gets older.

We have the experience, references, and commitment, but most of all we genuinely love to care for animals, which will give you peace-of-mind on your next holiday.

We have hosted about 9-10 housesits over the past 5 years, whenever we've taken a holiday, and I think Karen and Nelson have probably been the absolute best! They looked after our house with 2 cats, fish, and a vegetable garden for 10 days. We returned to an immaculately tidy home (tidier than when we left it), and the cats were supremely relaxed. The garden had been regularly watered (it was summer) and was flourishing. But they also went above and beyond, by mowing lawns and fixing things, also keeping in email contact with updates on the cats etc. We met them before the housesit and were immediately assured they were a decent, hard-working couple, and the kids were well-behaved and adorable. We recommend them to ANYONE wanting a reliable housesitter. I guarantee your home will be looked after and all taken care of. Karen and Nelson are cool!
