Dear homeowner –

Hello, my name is Tahanna.

I’m originally from regional Victoria where I grew up on a farm. I have been fortunate enough to have animals as part of my family always, including dogs, cats, chooks, fish, a goose, a horse and even pet cows. Suffice to say I am a lover of all animals - great and small.

For the last few years, I have been living in New York and prior to that I lived in Melbourne for over 13 years and Sydney briefly as well. Now, I’m returning to Australia and available once again to care for your furry family members.

I am an incredibly friendly, caring and trustworthy individual. I'm a single, non-smoker who is super clean and conscientious. I work flexibly as a solicitor, splitting my time between working remotely and in the CBD. Outside of work I enjoy the great outdoors, gardening, spending time with family and friends, music, being active and pottering around the house.

You can take comfort in knowing that your furry, feathered or scaled friend(s) will be staying with someone who will care for them as their own and show them the love and affection they are accustomed to - all while ensuring the pot plants are rotated regularly and the house is kept just as you like it.

'Tahanna was outstanding in all respects. From initial contact to the house sit to how she left the house. Tahanna left our place cleaner and in better shape than how she received it - very impressive. However, the most impressive part of her house sit was how she communicated with us when when we were travelling in Europe. 'Tahanna is extremely polite, kind, thoughtful, neat and tidy. We had plenty of communication before and during the housesit and photos provided of our cat whilst away. Our cat is also quite timid but warmed to Tahanna quite quickly, which was lovely. When we returned home, Tahanna had laundered all the sheets and towels she had used and I found them all folded up on the spare bed. Amazing. Then we went upstairs and found a lovely native bunch of flowers and a note from Tahanna, and then also a new full 2Lt milk carton in the fridge. The house was super neat, clean and tidy. Thank you so much Tahanna. We would love you to come again! And we have no hesitation in recommending you as a house sitter.’

'Tahanna recently looked after our home while we were away in Japan. It is a large house with cats and chickens and all were very well taken care of. The cats had a distinct look of annoyance when we came home and not Tahanna. Having someone house sit, especially when you are overseas relies heavily on trust and competence and Tahanna had both in spades. She also has a great sense of humour and was quite kind when I presented her with my “helpful guide to home and animals” complete with awful pictures.

We came home to happy animals, clean house and wonderful biscuit slices. I am most grateful that Tahanna allowed us peace of mind to enjoy our holiday.

I cannot recommend Tahanna highly enough and would always be happy to have her in my home. The cats also offered to paw a letter of reference.

‘I felt very comfortable with Tahanna, from the first meeting it felt like she was a friend and got along with my dogs instantly. While I was away I got lots of lovely messages with updates and photos of the dogs. I was surprised to come home to her room spotless with sheets washed and bed made fresh, towels washed and dried - she even left fresh flowers on the table with a beautiful note.
