Hello future home-sit!

We are an Australian (Sophia)/Brazilian (Rodrigo) married couple who have been very lucky to work remotely and explore the East Coast via housesitting. Our journey started, in November of 2023, when we made the decision to rent our Sunshine Coast home and start housesitting in NSW - as we are considering making a coastal NSW community our new home in the future. Housesitting has given us the opportunity to explore areas of the NSW Coast to see which region we may move to in 2025.

However, as of late July 2024, Rodrigo commenced a new consulting project, ironically based in... you guessed it, right back on the Sunshine Coast (Cotton Tree). Hence we are happily doing a temporary 360 to QLD for the initial months of the project. However, as our Sunny Coast home is tenanted, we have decided to continue housesitting. In between Sunny Coast sits, we are lucky to have family to stay with in either Noosa or Buderim.

As we work from home, we are ideal for those who want someone at home during the day to take care of their beloved pets and give them attention. Sophia works from home 5 days a week, whereas Rodrigo will visit his project's office most days (Cotton Tree), yet work from home sometimes too.

We are passionate about exploring new places, walking/hiking to explore our surroundings, finding hidden waterfalls, surfing (Rodrigo), running (Sophia), and enjoying life in a quieter township.

Rodrigo grew up in Brazil with 4 x German Shepherds, horses, cows, pigs (you name it!) as he lived between Rio de Janeiro city and his family's farm in the countryside. Sophia grew up in Noosa with a cat and cockatiels and is an avid bird lover. Fun Fact = Rodrigo and I are the poster people for Kuranda Birdworld in Cairns. We take pride in our home, and those of others, and aim to leave your home spotless, as if we were never there. We are grateful that you have opened your home to us and for us that is a privilege. As for your pets - what joy! When we settle again, we would love pets of our own, hence, we feel so much enjoyment in taking care of yours. As for your garden, house plants & lawn, we will be dedicated carers (we only mow the lawn if the stay is longer than 14 nights). We are non-smokers.

As for updates - we would love to keep you updated daily via WhatsApp with pictures/videos of your pets, etc - just let us know how best to communicate with you whilst you are enjoying your well-deserved holiday.

To work remotely whilst we care for your lovely home, we require internet (+ wifi), a space in the home to work from (could be a desk or a table), and a place to park our trusty Triton ute.
