I live in Newcastle and my family lives in Braddon. I know the road well between the 2 cities. My family has a beautiful baby and a golden retriever but there is no room for me now that the baby has moved to a cot. I thought that I would try house sitting. I am a retired professional opera singer and office worker. I swim every morning in the ocean baths and go to the gym 4 times a week so I am very fit. I am researching a forgotten opera diva, Florence Austral and I hope to bring an awareness of her wonderful career. I was asked to write a blog for the National Library of Australia and it is published on their website.
