Hi! We’re Taylor and Sarah. We’re friends and housemates looking for housesitting opportunities, predominantly in Brisbane and the Gold Coast (and in Melbourne in February). We are an Aussie and an American who met at a hostel in London, and are now living together in Australia!

(Don’t get us wrong, we aren’t party people. At the ripe old ages of 28 and 29, we prefer to stay in and watch TV or read a book.)

Taylor is a remote worker with her own digital microbusiness, and Sarah is on a working holiday needing temporary accommodation until she resumes her travels in March 2024. Housesitting is a perfect gig for us as we don’t need the stability of a traditional rental situation given our work and travel circumstances.

We love pets and gardens, and have a history with animals (these include Taylor’s own kelpie x Brandy who lives with mum in Canberra, cat Piper, and Sarah’s sweetly named cat Lucifer hanging out back in Boston). We’ve also had experience with groodles and wolfhounds, and Taylor keeps tropical fish.

Taylor is quite a green thumb and loves to care for gardens, particularly if there are veggies involved. She’s also worked with government and historically had police checks and security clearances conducted which were clear and free of issues. Sarah, meanwhile, is a clean and tidy person with years of experience working at Boston airport where she had to get a mandatory background check every 2 years for the past 6 years.

Both of us can supply references on request and are non-smokers.
