The House-sitting Home Designer

One time sea-changer, nearly a tree-changer, I am now a house-changer. That is, I enjoy the experiences of house-minding and pet-caring in different locations.
I’m an independent design consultant with the capacity to work from home should your pets have specific care requirements or suffer from separation anxiety.
I take pride in maintaining a property and returning it to the host as they would expect to find it.
While new to ‘Mind-a-home’, I have relevant experience as a house-sitter, homeowner and an animal lover. Prior to pursuing housesitting on a more consistent basis, I had sat houses and minded pets of friends and neighbours.
As a previous property owner and tenant, I have experience in general maintenance, painting and basic gardening. I’m also good at reviewing any design ideas that have been sitting idly on your project back burner.
I have been the owner of numerous rescue animals having suffered rough treatment, each which grew to trust my family and I through patience and lots of compassionate and tailored care. I enjoy assessing a pet’s personality to enable me to respond to it appropriately.
My recent house-sitting and animal minding experiences include a 12 year-old Burmese cat, a two year-old Lagotto Romagnolo, a nine year-old Great Dane/ Labrador, four chickens and 12 tropical fish.
