Hello, my name is Tahmia, and for over the past 2 years I have provided homeowners with the comfort and peace of mind of well taken care of pets and homes in the USA, New Zealand, and Australia. I have a location independent job, blogging and writing so I am quite flexible, willing to travel, and normally home so I am able to dedicate full time to your beloved animals and homes. I am a graduate from the University of Georgia, with a Bachelors in Political Science and History, in my late 20s, a non-smoker, and have no children. I love house sitting because it gives me the opportunity to live as a local, becoming fully immersed in the culture. Also, as a previous pet owner, it gives me the bond I miss by having pets of my own, going on walks, cuddling on the couch, and yes, having full out conversations with my pets! And giving them, and your home, the same love and respect you would if you were there, gives me immense pleasure. In my mind it is better than having to kennel them, or find someone to check in on your home from time to time. This way, while you are away, via our constant contact through the means you set upon, you can relax knowing I care for your home as my own. I have worked with pets that required medical treatment, including my own, who before passing from bone cancer, had quite the regiment of medications. I left the states looking for an adventure, and I have found that and formed bonds with those I have house sat for.
