We are a retired couple, I still do some part time work as a handyman, We like to travel and we often travel with our caravan. We love animals, We no longer have pets of our own due to our travel commitments, so we are happy to spoil others pets instead.
We are non smokers and very tidy people. Happy and fit enough to undertake any chores necessary. We both walk several times a day.
My working life involved advise on soil erosion, and revegetation projects for farmers and land managers. My work also involved Emergency management, from fires, floods to plague and pestilence.
Our interest are travel,exploring the history of an area, being outdoors, gardening, photography, hiking, canoeing, birdwatching,

"We were so grateful to have Jan and Gordon house and puppy sit while we were away for our wedding. From the moment we met them we knew that our place and our active German Short-haired Pointer would be well looked after, which meant we could completely relax while away celebrating our big day. Upon our return our house was left immaculate and pointer dog was very happy, well loved and well walked. Can't recommend Jan and Gordon highly enough and we definitely hope to have Jan and Gordon sit for us again! Thanks again Jan and Gordon!"

We had Gordon and Jan sit for us and can not recommend them enough. Our house and dogs where better looked after than anybody could expect. They had cleaned and tided all the house and land and our place looked like a show home. Can not thank them enough and hope to have them back in future. Stuart.

Gordon and Jan are excellent house sitters. Merlin and Sally really missed them after they left so they were obviously happy with them. Our home was left spotlessly clean and a lovely meal was waiting for us when we arrived home. We have told them that they are welcome in our home any time they are back in Hervey Bay either to house sit or just stay a while. They are a lovely kind and caring couple. Sue

We had a relaxing holiday knowing Gordon and Jan would do a great job at looking after our place. The animals were certainly well cared for and the place looked great when we got back. We certainly would welcome them back anytime. Once again thank you. Sharon.

Could not have been happier with the house-sit. From initial communication to our meeting before we left...right to their departure, it was like having trusted relatives in the house. Pets well cared for and the house just lovely to come home to...as well as dinner after a long drive. Highly recommended. Thanks Gordon and Jan

I would love to be able to keep Gordon and Jan to myself, but unfortunately that wouldn't be fair. They housesat for us for three weeks in 2016 and we couldn't have been happier. We have a large country home with two dogs and one very spoilt cat as well as cattle and horses and a large garden. When we came home everything was as we left it. The animals were very happy and the house was immaculate. We had a night with Jan and Gordon before going away and it was like having old friends stay with us.
