More information about this house sitter

We, David and Anne, are fit 76 & 72 year olds who have returned to WA after 14 years in Tasmania. We do not smoke (or ever have) and hold current Police Certificates.

Born in the UK, we married in 1966 and proceeded to seek experiences beyond the UK in the Bahamas, Perth, Christmas Island and Tasmania. Throughout these years we have owned and also rented about 20 properties and have had the pleasure of having two daughters, three cats and two dogs share some of these experiences with us.

We also engaged in the Commonwealth Teacher Exchange programme in 1988 and spent a brilliant year as a consequence of swapping houses and vehicles with a UK couple.

We sold our beautiful Tasmanian home on an acre of land (under garden which helped raise our fitness levels to new heights!) early last year. Before leaving Tassie behind, friends offered us a brand new home they'd just built in Mandurah as a rental: 'we know you will look after our property as if it is your own.' And we did.

Along this varied journey friends have also left their pets with us whilst they have gone away on holiday. See photo of 'Seiko' ..... so called because he's a 'Watchdog'. Other photos show a little of our lovely Tassie property and, best of all, Anne and me!

On the subject of 'Us', we love music, theatre, film and literature as well as outdoor pursuits such as walking, golf and swimming.

Currently we are engaged in a six month house sit (3 invisible moggies thus far) in Safety Bay. This sit will twke us to late September if all goes to plan. Beyond September is all rather fuzzy at this stage.
