Hello,
I’m living full time in my self contained van with my beautiful natured dog Lucy whilst travelling around FNQ. We are looking for the occasional house sit to break up van life and have the opportunity to take care of some animals along the way.
We are currently based in Cairns and looking to stay in the Cairns area for the next few months. Happy to also take house sits in surrounding areas as far north as the Daintree.
I work casually in Social Services and spend most of my down time out in nature with my dog or exploring the best parts of FNQ.
I adore animals, I’ve got a very soft spot for cats. I’ve got plenty of experience taking care of dogs, cats, fish, chickens and more!
Lucy is a Red Cattle x Basenji, she is a very loving and high energy dog so I understand the importance or daily dog walks and adventures. She has previously lived with 2 cats and has never had an issue. She gets along with most dogs but is usually too obsessed with playing with toys or asking to throw the ball to pay another dog much attention. We would require a meet in greet prior to taking a house sit with another dog.
