Hi, we are Niki and Ian, a fit and energetic, non-smoking couple in our 50’s. We are originally from the UK but have lived in Adelaide, Australia for the past 18 years. In 2019 we decided that after raising three wonderful children who had all left home and were embarking on their own adventures, we decided to start one of our own.
We went overseas to travel and work throughout the UK and Europe and were having a great time until it was all cut short due to Covid.

We returned to Adelaide in October 2020 and decided to do some travelling in Australia instead. Due to both of us having work commitments, we didn’t get going until October 2021 and have since spent time touring NSW, ACT and parts of South Australian we hadn’t seen before. We are happy to care for dogs and other small animals, (we used to keep 18 chickens) unfortunately we cannot look after cats as Ian is allergic to them.

Ian is a licensed plumber and builder and we have renovated several properties together, along with numerous renovations for others, so we are more than happy to undertake any paid maintenance work at properties if required.

We have now been house sitting on and off for 12 months and thoroughly enjoy it, we will always treat your home as if it were our own. I ran an Airbnb in McLaren Vale, South Australia and prided myself on a high level of cleanliness. We want homeowners to have a stress free, relaxed break whilst we look after their homes and pets. We have previously owned dogs and are comfortable with them and caring for them.
