Hi I’m Vanessa and I have a small dog sitting business on 2.5 acres on the outskirts of Airlie Beach. I live a beautiful life surrounded by nature and dogs ❤️ I have recently adopted a 8.5 year old incredibly gorgeous Weimaraner who is also called Vanessa - (Ness) who’s elderly Mum passed away in September 2022.

The dogs I look after are with me every second, as we go on many outings and walks throughout the day including running around on my property and provide daily updates to owners. Most of the gang I look after are local dogs with some new dogs when space becomes available for tourists visiting the reef on day or sailing trips. I have looked after many breeds from Great Danes to Chihuahuas and I feel comfortable with most breeds as long as they are fairly easy to walk on lead and non reactive.
I absolutely love what I do to and cannot imagine my life now without dogs around, hence not going anywhere in the last 3 years as I miss the dogs too much!

Ness enjoys spending time with the dogs, as she’s only known me to be the pet sitter and she comfortably shares the space and is used to meeting all shapes and sizes. I would love to bring her if your pets allow. She’s a little goofy and awkward but generally quiet and keeps to herself.

I was involved in the skiing, mountain bike and yoga industry for many years and travelled a lot and it’s time to start travelling and would love to take care of your beloved pets along the way as they would be in amazing care and spoilt to bits.

I’m a non smoker and drinker, love my yoga and in bed early and up for walks. My social life involves meeting people on daily walks as they get to enjoy meeting and patting the dogs? it’s a happy and positive exchange.
