Hi there!

We are Thomas and Lisanne, a recently graduated couple from Utrecht; a beautiful city in the centre of the Netherlands. We are respectively 24 and 25 years old and are planning to travel through Australia for a year. We will be starting this great adventure in Sydney where we would like to stay and work for a while. We have chosen to stay in this city for a bit longer since we do not only want to travel around all the time, but also experience how daily life in Australia feels like.

As stated before, we come from the vibrant student city of Utrecht. However, this is not the place where we grew up. We both were born in small villages in the countryside of the Netherlands where we have been used to have all kinds of animals around us. From cows to cats and from goats to dogs: we all love them!

Most experienced 'animal carer' is definitely Thomas. Since his seventeenth he has been working on a farm in his hometown on days he did not have obligations for his study. Thomas has done a bachelor in economics followed up by a master Management and organisations and a second master in Marketing. Besides studying and working at the farm Thomas loves playing soccer and meeting up with friends.

Lisanne has done a bachelor and master in Law with a specialisation in Labour law. She loves playing soccer as well (nice detail: we first met at our student soccer club!) and is a big fan of travelling. Furthermore she likes hiking a lot and going to markets. Read more...
