Hello. We are Jean and Ben. We both love all creatures great and small (especially dogs) and we'd love to house/pet sit for you. We are retired teachers and we have been house-sitting since 2013. We have looked after pets and homes, pools and gardens for about 15 families in various states of Australia now. We have family in Canberra so have completed quite a few sits in the ACT as well. We live on a small farm and so have experience with dogs, cats, poultry and beef cattle. We have also kept a house cow in the past. We enjoy walking and exploring the outdoors. Ben is an avid bird watcher and Jean is a photographer. We maintain a large native garden at home as well as managing our little farm. We have used house-sitters ourselves on numerous occasions when we have been away from home for extended periods, and so we understand how important it is to find the right people to love and care for pets , keep the garden in good order and to treat the home with all respect. We have done repeat sits for people and so we are confident we are providing a good service to people. We take a pride in making sure people enjoy their time away from home and pets knowing that they are in good hands. We used to have our own beautiful Cavalier King Charles , Bella, who was greatly loved. We are both non-smokers.
