We are a retired couple living in New Zealand. I'm 68 and was born in NZ, and Dennis is 70 and was born in NSW. We met in the Northern Territory, and moved to Perth in 1987 where we lived til 2011 before moving to NZ. Dennis was a Maintenance Superintendent for various mining companies throughout his career, and Bev was mainly in administrative / office positions most of her working life. We each have daughters ... I have two, both living in Perth with one son each, both young adults. Dennis has one daughter also living in Perth with her husband and two sons. In our retirement we each follow our own interests: Dennis sails remote control yachts, travels local rail in NZ as a hobby, plays flute and has many other varied interests. I do volunteer work which involves editing and posting online the history of local people through interviews. This is an absorbing interest and keeps me very busy four days a week, and often on weekends. We are non-smokers, and would prefer to sit cats only, as a lot of time will be taken up with family.
