I am a single retired teacher. I am originally from Scotland but lived in West Africa, for 3 years and Australia for 30 years. However I have just recently returned from Thailand where I taught in an International school for 2 years. I have 2 beautiful grown up daughters, one living in Melbourne and the other in Perth, WA. Both are professional girls, indeed the youngest qualifies as a doctor at the end of this year.
I am finding retirement a little challenging as I am used to being busy, hence I thought I would apply for house sitting. This would provide me with the opportunity to see more of Australia and to have the pleasure of looking after pets. I have owned many pets in my lifetime including, dogs, budgies, rabbits and a stock horse.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, listening to music, walking and learning new skills.
