Hello!

Our names are Sofia and Chris, an English couple from Birmingham.

We arrived in Melbourne in March 2020, two days before the borders closed. We were extremely lucky that we were able to stay in Melbourne because of Chris’ work. He is a steel fixer, and I’m a teacher. During the pandemic he was able to work, where as I set up my own online dance classes and taught English to children in China. We like to keep ourselves busy, and make the most out of our time.

September 2020, we were able to escape lockdown and head to Warrnambool to do our 88 day farm working to extend our working holiday visa. We were dairy farmers and loved every minute of it. We are big animal lovers and we really wanted our farm work to be with animals. During our time here we worked for an amazing family, who were so loving and caring and we loved that family feel.

We are both love the outdoors, camping and we have most recently found a big love of diving and are certified advanced divers.

This year it was our New Years resolution buy a van and explore Australia. We’ve completed the east coast and now we are heading up to Darwin for Territory day and then making our way to Western Australia.
