Hi,

we're Claudia & Tom, a newlywed couple (31 & 29) from Belgium, travelling around Australia between January and December 2017.

Claudia is a veterinarian in a small animal clinic (dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, etc.) since 2013, and Tom is a computer engineer. Feel free to check out Claudia's Belgian website (dierenartsclaudia dot be). You can also visit Tom's website at tomdenies dot be.

Growing up, we've always had a lot of animals at home (cats, dogs, bunnies, hamsters, chickens, etc.). Currently we live with a 6-and-a-half year-old bunny "Hannibal", and two 14-year-old cumberland water turtles, "Fatso & Anton".
Claudia also did two internships at a sheep farm in France during her studying years.

Starting in January 2017, we've decided to embark on an extended honeymoon, in the form of a year-long Working Holiday adventure across Ozzie! We've been to the country twice already, and we absolutely love it, especially experiencing the real Australian way of life!

Unfortunately, Claudia's European diploma in Veterinary Medicine doesn't allow her to practice in Australia (unless she pays a hefty sum equaling half our travel budget ;-)), but she can't imagine not taking care of pets during a whole year... So, we would like to combine our need for accommodation with our love for pets!

We're very flexible, and are looking for stays from as short as a few days up to 1 or 2 months. We'll have our own car (4WD). Animals with special medical needs are obviously no problem at all.
