Hello! I'm a writer and communications professional who works mainly from home, with the occasional on-site contract.

My son and daughter-in-law live in South Canberra and I'm looking for a house-sit in the Tuggeranong area around New Year so I can visit without being under their feet!

I love animals, and have shared my life with cats, dogs, birds, and fish. I live with two cats but they will be cared for at home while I'm away.

In house-sitting situations, I've looked after cats, dogs, chickens, a cockatoo, a pet snake, and a terrarium of frogs (not in the same house - and no, I didn't have to feed the frogs to the snake, but I did have to catch flies for the frogs). I've also watered and tended gardens.

If we can help each other out for a couple of weeks around New Year/January, let me know.
