We are Jayne & Rick and although we have house and pet sat for our family and friends we are new to this site.
We have been house proud home owners for the past 30 years and are now ready to start a new chapter. Our dream is to house sit and hopefully care for some fur babies to fill the void our little Ava has left. We love the idea of living like a local and exploring possible areas we might like to eventually retire to while we care for your home and pets as if they were our own. Ava was blind from two years and our 18 year old cat Chloe was deaf so we appreciate the importance of keeping animals in their routine in their own home and have no problem administering medication or having pets sleep in our bed. We can look after your garden and lawns, pools are not a problem as we’ve maintained our own pool for 24 years. We can provide references, both character and from pet owners as we regularly mind and walk friends dogs. As a retired community worker I have police checks and current first aid certificate. I have worked in the community as a support worker for the past 10 years and Rick is an accounts manager. We are also happy to visit or provide any help needed to your elderly relatives while you’re away.
In these crazy times Rick is currently still working but I have retired and I’m happy to do any sits around the north coast (Currently live in Grafton ) or Newcastle area. Rick has lots of holidays owing so longer or short suites with both of us isn’ta problem either.
We have sold our home and are currently renting. We are extremely tidy (neat freaks) and our landlord for the past two years is more than happy to provide a reference to support this. We have had several sits cancelled due to Covid . If you are needing a break and need your pets and home cared for we are ready to help you out... looking forward to hearing from you.
