Hi
We are a, trustworthy, clean, handy, fur baby loving couple who would very much like to care for your furry ankle biters & home. Over the last few years we have been owned by many beautiful pets.
We have just been made redundant so we will be hitting the road in search of adventures work and meeting great people (2 legged & 4 legged).
We own our own home in Victor Harbor S.A. and we have also owned & renovated quite a few homes & gardens over the years,
We have lived in Western Australia, (Pilbara, Bunbury, Perth), Queensland (Mackay and Brisbane), NSW (Hunter Valley) and are regular visitors to Melbourne to visit our daughter son in law and 2 beautiful grandchildren. So we know most of these areas very well.
We are very handy around the place, very very clean and hard workers.
Matthew until recently worked for a large mining company in a Management role based in Perth Western Australia & has a background as an Auto Electrician.
Shauna has worked as a professional cleaner, hospital volunteer, librarian and retail community care.
We take house sitting very seriously and treat it as our job, therefore regardless of any work situation we will always ensure one of us is home, so we can keep your loved family members company.
We try and make the transition as smooth as possible by ensuring that your beloved furry children get plenty of cuddles and hugs and your routines are maintained and rules followed. (If they sleep on the bed with you then they will sleep on the bed with us, we have even had a large beautiful Golden retriever share our bed)
A side benefit of the last two years of house sitting, is that we have met some amazing people and become quite good friends. (We now let them know our schedule as some of our house sits are planning their next trips around our availability)
We are very trustworthy, responsible, have references & police clearances. We are also non-smokers, and wherever possible we always try to catch up face to face, as we appreciate how difficult it is to learn about someone in just in a few written words or a phone call.
