Hi, we are Sharon and Ken, two innocents abroad in this great friendly world. We're a clean and quiet, reliable and trustworthy, nonsmoking couple in our sixties, together now for 40 years. Five years ago we released our works and home in Canada, and ventured forth to discover how we might serve in a broader way. Since November 2022 we have been based in Perth, catching up with our lovely daughter.
We have now completed 26 pet-sits (caring for 32 dogs, 17 cats, a snake, a budgie, 30+ chooks, 60+ fish). We are grateful to have received many shining recommendations, which we will happily share. This has been an excellent learning and a grand adventure for us, and we hope to bounce around Western Australia for a good long while.
We were renters and homeowners in Canada for more than four decades: walk-up and high-rise apartments, a parkland acreage, a city-core condo, and a suburban bungalow for many years. Along with our daughter we grew flower beds and vegetable gardens, cherished cats, played games with a hedgehog, enjoyed aquariums, and greatly loved a charming cheeky blue-eyed Shih Tzu.
We enjoy reading, playing cribbage, and solving word puzzles. Ken is a bit of a handyman who also likes to cuddle a cat and walk a dog. Sharon loves to weed the garden, clean the house, and chat with friends.
We would be glad and grateful to care for your pets and home and gardens just as we did our own = with affection, respect, and attention to detail. We know that they will all get along very well with us, and we with them.
