More information about this house sitter

After living aboard our catamaran and sailing extensively for 5+ years, we are moving back on land in SA. We are seeking an opportunity to house sit for 1-4 months while we search for our forever home. We are child and pet free, honest, reliable, friendly and happy to pet sit, except reptiles!
Apart from helping out family heading off on holidays, we haven't previously taken the opportunity to home sit in a formal sense. We were introduced to the concept via a friend, and were quite taken with the idea. A win-win really, we have a roof over our head while we house search, and the owner can leave their home knowing that it is in good hands.
Adaptability, problem solving, and being technically and mechanically savvy (that last one would be hubby), are critical to life at sea. Where required, and in consultation with you the home owner, we would apply our broad knowledge and skill base to rectify any issues that may arise during the time we are minding your home.
We are available to look after your home from 2nd January 2025, and would love to have the opportunity to discuss how this might work for you and for us.
