Hi,

We are Baz and Kerstine with our boys Xander and Djaru. Xander is a well behaved 18 month old who knows right from wrong; he will not damage your house or hurt your pets. Djaru is just 6 weeks old.

Your house does not need to be ‘child proof’. We teach Xander not to touch certain things and that somethings especially are dangerous. Of course he still likes to copy mum and dad so it is harder to keep his fingers off the laptop when in reach (but he knows he is not supposed to); all other things including breakables and the toilet are fine.

We are not worried about the pets knocking Xander over; he is one tough kid! As long as the pets are friendly and can put up with a bit of extra attention from young kids, this is what we need.

Xander and Djaru currently sleep in bed with us, we do not need a separate room but it would be ideal if you have a king size bed or two double/queen size.

We are a vegan health conscious family; we don't drink or smoke or even cook greasy food!
We love animals and will look after your pets with lots of care and attention.
We think the world would be a better place if we were all vegan, but we don't judge others for their choice of diet and we are happy to feed the animals what you want them to eat.

We stay at home a lot of the time, Baz works part-time using an internet connection and we only go out occasionally to shop, visit friends or family.

We are experienced housesitters and have cared for many types of animals. Rest assured your home and pets are in good hands.

We have no current police checks; Baz has old ones and also a working with children card. Kerstine is German and as yet has not lived in Australia as a citizen or permanent resident. We have NEVER been convicted of any crime (or committed). Better than a police check that only knows your police record, is to know us! Judge our character directly and ask any questions you want. We are happy to skype with you any time, face to face!
