More information about this house sitter

Just a little note about ourselves. We are a couple in our late 50’s, from Newcastle, NSW who have for sometime wanted to move to Tasmania.
I am a specialist IVF nurse who has worked in this field for the past 12 years. I have been fortunate enough to procure a full-time position with Tasmanian IVF commencing on the 3rd of November in Hobart CBD.
My husband has had most of his experience in the shipping, and logistics sector. He has had managerial roles in Shipping agencies and has had extensive office administration experience.
We are an active couple, who love to travel to remote and adventurous parts of the world. Locally we enjoy getting to the markets, and stealing ourselves away in our camper van to discover new places. We hike, and participate in regular fun runs. Either a suburban or rural property would be suitable, love growing fruit and veggies, as well as raising chickens.
We do however come with a well behaved dog. Vera is a much loved, part of the family, a 2 year old female border collie x cattle, so we need a secure yard.
Currently in NSW we own 2 properties which are being rented out to our 2 adult children so at the moment we are not looking at purchasing here, and would benefit a longer term lease. Our 3rd child is currently living and working in Coles Bay.
Ideally, any property that is within a 50 km radius of Hobart is fine. We are happy to commute. Kerri and Tim Yare Read more...
