Hi! My name is Tess, I work at Taronga zoo in a tourism and guest experience role, animal handling and community and cultural programs. I’ve owned horses, fish, cats, chickens, dogs, birds and lizards with experience in more exotic animals like snakes, turtles, tortoises, toads, frogs, primates, every Australian animal you can (or cant!) think of and more!
I recently finished my HSC, a Cert III In travel and tourism, was chosen state wide as the representative of school based apprentices and trainees for the department of education and a fair bit more.
I’m looking to get out to new places before i move / start travelling and couldn’t think of a better way than with house sitting, the pets being a fabulous added bonus! I work five hours of the day and would be home for the rest.
I’m introverted and quiet, i far prefer to tuck away in a cozy dim lit space with a book curled up with my cat or dog, my idea of an ideal day is by myself (with the exception of furred friends).
