Pets are part of the family to me. I love dogs & cats especially; I can't pass one on the street without stopping to say hello. I've always felt like I am meant to be a furbaby's momma. I've cared for over 200 cats and dogs throughout the past decade since I've moved out of my parents' home. We didn't have any pets growing up because both my parents fiercely refused. Ironically, they have a dog now. That's in the Washington DC area where I grew up. I also used to work at a retail-rescue partnership for 2 years and learned a lot about optimal health and nutrition for animals. Through the shop is where most of my petsitting gigs came from so even though I don't have heaps of reviews on this site, I'm a very experienced petsitter. Petsitting gives me best of both worlds - new travel experiences and animals I can care for!
