Hi!
I am a 22 year old female that has been house-sitting for approximately 4 years at several homes. I am from a small country town known as Pingelly located in the Great Southern of Western Australia.
I have been accepted to study at The Australian Film and Television Academy in Melbourne, and will be making the move there in January 2020.
I have been working in a veterinary clinic for almost 5 years and have been a qualified veterinary nurse for 2 years.
I am also an active member of two Volunteer Fire and Rescue Services, one in my home town in Pingelly and the other in the town I work at called Narrogin. I have been volunteering for over 6 years now (attending to bush fires, structural fires, road crashes ect) . Last year I received my 5 year service medal.
I not only work at a veterinary clinic I also work an extra two jobs. I do a morning shift at the local bakery, and run nocturnal tours at an animal sanctuary called "Barna Mia" located in Dryandra Woodland, a proposed national park in the wheat-belt. The sanctuary consists of two enclosures with 5 Australian extinct and endangered animals that I then educate the public about.
I am very experienced with small animals. I grew up with 15 pet rabbits, chickens, cats and dogs. I now only have 2 beautiful Golden Retrievers and 5 adorable pet cats.
I currently live with my family in a beautiful farm house 10kms out of town.
I have worked very hard the last 6 years and have finally been given this chance to live life a bit and travel to Melbourne. Even though I love all of my jobs, I will certainly miss them and my family and pets.
The reason why I am heading to Melbourne is that I want to pursue my career in acting. I have been acting in Perth for several years, however, the opportunities are limited. I have done many role playing jobs, acting for commercials, tv series and films. One of the best film sets I worked on was "Koko A Red Dog Story" (Red Dog 3). Read more...
