Hi! My name is Gretel. I am from Boston, MA, USA and I recently graduated from the University of Vermont. I am doing postgraduate research at Monash University.
I am available to meet you (and your pet :P) upon arrangement. I am currently dogsitting in Mentone, VIC until March 1st, and looking for sits after March 1st.
I grew up with two cats, Gypsy and Sadie, and a labrador terrier Star. I adopted star when I was 7, as my own puppy. I took care of her as I watched her grow up with me. My family recently adopted Oliver, a golden doodle a few years ago. I am familiar and experienced at taking care of dogs and cats.
I have pet-sit my family friend's beagle, Dora, for 2 weeks, and my grandparent's Irish water spaniel, Emmett, for a whole summer. I was using another very common site which this site is blocking the name of, and have done 2 long-term sits in Australia (5 weeks and 3 weeks).
I am working as a research fellow at Monash's Clinical Psychedelic Lab (which is home to really really groundbreaking research, hence why I came all the way across the globe). I am in the Clayton lab on Mondays and perform the rest of my work remotely.
I understand how it may be difficult to trust a stranger to take good care of your home and your pet. I just joined this site and was using another site prior, hence no reviews or badges.
