More information about this house sitter

We are a professional couple in our 50's who love travelling. We were on an extended work break travelling Australia, sleeping predominantly in a swag! We came to Cape Yorke and Cairns in July 2020, fell in love with the area and haven't left.

Vivien works at Cairns and Hinterland Health Service. Joe is retired and enjoys a spot of fishing in the Cairns area.

House sitting offers us the opportunity to break up sleeping on the ground.

We have undertaken numerous house sits in Cairns, caring for a range of animals.

More importantly we are both land lords and tenants, so understand the absolute importance of someone caring for your home as you would want it cared for.

We have a ton of experience with animals - having raised four children on a semi rural property in rural south Australia we have had the pleasure of caring for cats, dogs, chickens, sheep, horses, snakes, rats, mice, fish, frogs
