More information about this house sitterTaken booking Jan 21st to Feb 8th extended to 12th, March 2nd to 18th, March 20th to April 12th and May 14th to June 13th, - this one is will be cancelled by this Friday as home owner has had his leave cancelled - then Alice Springs from June 2oth to July 23rd - this is in doubt now because of public gathering restrictions - and a casual sit in Shepparton from July 26th to Sept22nd with no pet but extensive garden and could short stays during this period and will be looking for anything anywhere from Sept 23rd - this sit is now in doubt as owners daughter can now do it.
We are a retired couple and travel with our dog Turbo who adapts quickly to his surroundings and as long as our van is in sight he is happy.
Loosely based in Shepparton where our sons and daughter live and work, we have packed all of our household into a storage shed.
We travel in a Mercedes campervan (was a 15 seater bus) that I converted myself.
Willing to go anywhere, we prefer the warmth to the cold but will look at any offers. Chris loves to potter in a garden and Warwick has always been capable of maintaining property and equipment. We have done a number of house/pet sits involving up to 3 dogs of varying sizes and Turbo has fitted in well with the residents including one that was snake bitten day before we got there and at 2 house sits we have cared for horses with special needs and have learnt how to distribute round bales to cattle.
We have travelled to Alice Springs in July the last 6 years and will continue each year doing that.
Always looking for housesits that have a variety of animals and long term sits are welcome as well, Tassie could be a problem because of the cost of getting our van there.
