More information about this house sitter

We are two professional women from Canada who travel to Australia frequently, thus are sharing this profile as we both enjoy housesitting! Aly is a permanent resident of Australia (married to an Australian) and is a marine biology professor. Karen is a retired teacher. We have been friends for 25 years, and enjoy housesitting together - or separately - as we both really love pets. Between us, we have done more than 150 sits all over the world and always get perfect reviews, some of which you can see here on this site (but we have many others as well that we are happy to share!)

We both love gardening and will take good care of your plants. We can also handle most maintenance problems as they arise. We have plenty of experience maintaining swimming pools, gardens and fish ponds. Our motto is to 'treat it like our own,' so you know you will come home to a clean house and happy pets that have been lovingly cared for (and in the case of dogs, well-exercised because we are both keen runners/walkers!)

As people who have owned (and still own) houses ourselves, we understand what it is to keep up a property and leave it in excellent condition. We have both owned both urban and rural properties, so we are comfortable in just about any setting.

We are both energetic, outdoor-loving people, non-smokers and non-drinkers who enjoy experiencing new places. As sitters, neither of us have never gotten a review less than 5 stars, so please just ask for our long list of references.
