More information about this house sitter

We currently live in the riverland and visit Adelaide often. Our daughter and her family have just immigrated from the USA bringing with them our 4 grandchildren. We own our own home in Loxton SA on the mighty Murray River. But as our family have moved back to Australia we are looking to sell and move closer to Adelaide. We would love a house to sit over this Christmas / Jan period to spend time with them. We have 2 well behaved/trained cocker spaniels that if at all possible we would love to bring with us but if this is a problem for any home owner we have family that will care for them or we will get a house sitter in. They are crate trained for sleeping and would come with us any time we leave your home. We never leave them unless they are staying with my mother. They are true fur babies and have anxiety issues if left alone.
We are very reliable, clean, responsible, honest as the day is long, community minded and flexible as we run our own business (patchwork and quilting online store), I run this via my iPad so I can work anywhere.
We love animals of any type, but especially dogs and cats, my husband also used to breed birds and comes from a farming background. We've had chooks most of our married life and always have dogs.
Being that I run a patchwork business I love to sew especially quilts and I do a lot of hand embroidering. Neither of us are much in the way of gardeners, but we can certainly water plants etc and care for your garden and keep an eye on your home and keep it secure in your absence. Read more...
