Hello Everyone. My name is Michelle and my partner and I would love the opportunity to look after your pets and home while you are away.

We are both employed full time and extremely responsible. I have traveled extensively, studied in Spain and done volunteer work in Mexico and Costa Rica. I am working full time but have flexible hours so can always make time for a walk in the mornings and afternoons. I run as well so if you have a high energy dog they might like to join me.

I have lived much of my life on acreage at Samford and I have had pets all my life. We have always had 2 generally larger dogs, Rotty/Sheppard cross, but this time we have 2 rescue dogs - a small terrier/poodle cross and a medium Kelpie/Staffy cross. Unfortunately one dog inherited bad genetics and so far has had surgery on 3 of her 4 legs ( she is only 2.5 years old) with a complete knee reconstruction being the most recent. Mum was away during much of the recovery period so I am aware of the needs around recuperating animals including carrying her up stairs, restricting mobility, daily medication.....and of course lots of love!

I have currently also got a cat, budgies, fish and chickens and have owned and cared for horses from age of 9 till I was 19. I still ride often.
We have been sitting full time for a while with the most recent sits being for 2 cats, 2 dogs and several chickens at Bunya and a large and lovable Labrador at Camp Hill. We have also looked after friends homes, gardens and pets for short periods as well as our own for longer stints when mum has traveled( which she does a fair bit). I also sat in Canberra for a month last winter and understand now why the home owners went north!
Both Joel and I are trying to save for a house deposit so thought house sitting would give us the opportunity to experience a wide variety of suburbs before deciding where to buy. We would love to give your pets the care they deserve and look after your home while you are away. Read more...
