More information about this house sitter

Thank you for reviewing my profile

I’m single now, a non-smoker, covid vaxxed x5, house proud and a garden lover. I am retired - after a long career as an OT, for many years in East Gippsland.
(Retirement present to myself was a fabulous little camper (Tucana) and I used it enthusiastically over the warmer months. Parked now til Spring.)

My time is divided between my gorgeous grand kids, friends, gardening, walking, reading, patchwork and camping and travelling. I’ve spent time in every state and territory and love the diversity of this beautiful country.

I own my own home and understand the value we place in our possessions – physical and emotional - and will care for and respect yours as if my own.

My late husband was a vet and when the kids were little I was his side kick – I’m confident managing a wide range of domestic pets and capable administering medications (and first aid!)
We raised our family on 4 acres and had every pet you can think of from ponies and horses, rodents, reptiles, sheep, goats, poddy calves, and of course cats and dogs. Chooks too, budgies, galahs and cockatiels at one time or another. Most of our animals were ‘rescued’, including our hilarious greyhound who lived to be 14.

I think that staying in one place for a bit is by far the better way to appreciate an area. Beats ‘…its Tuesday so this must be Berlin’ hands down. That’s why I want to come to yours, to experience your community whilst respectfully caring for your home, and it’s a bonus if you have pets for me to snuggle, a garden for me to potter.
