Hey hey!

I'm Alex, I'm a 24 year old student who has spent most of my recent years working and travelling as an outdoor adventure guide through Europe. It was there where I first housesat and fell in love with the unique experience that it presents whilst living abroad. Now that I'm home again I'm just seeking a little more independence and variety in my life as a student!

Having spent so long travelling, I've learnt to appreciate having a bit of space to yourself and the care that is required to keep a space feeling lovely and fresh. Having lived out of a backpack for years, I can also live somewhere whilst making next to no impact upon that place. I'm looking for a place where I can have some time to myself to reignite my travel blog as well as a few other little projects I have on the cards, on top of the grind that is student life.

The houses I've sat in have nearly always had pets ranging from guinea pigs to dogs, and I myself have had a variety throughout my life. My family currently has two aged cats (both turning 20 this year) who require a lot more attention and caring in their old age than they once did, whilst I've also kept axolotls, bearded dragons and a family horse who we agisted not too far away. I still often find myself just lying around somewhere playing with animals at some point throughout my day as it is such a nice way to relax.

I'm more than happy to meet up for a coffee, Skype, or even just have a quick chat over the phone to discuss potential opportunities you may have!
