Hi our names are Kay and Bruce.
Just a little about us and how we have come to be house sitters. We relocated to the Brisbane area at the start of 2016, after living in Rockhampton (Central Queensland) nearly 30 years. We made a lifestyle change in 2015 and manage a chalet in the NSW ski fields in the winter months (June - October). In this management role, we clean and maintain nine individual apartments which has given us good experience in caring for other people's property.
We pride ourselves on good communication and have had positive feedback from our owners at the chalet regarding this.
We have two older children that have now flown the nest which leaves us free to move about during the summer months. We would like to be considered for house sits in and around all Brisbane suburbs. We owned our own home for near 30 years and were always particular in its upkeep and maintenance .
Bruce - Industrial Design teacher for 28 years - has good hand skills, very practical and technically minded, keen gardener, likes animals.
Kay - Finance/Admin officer in a primary school for 15 years and Bank officer for the other part of her working life - Highly organised, neat and tidy, keen cook and very handy with a sewing machine and loves animals.
We are very house proud, trustworthy and reliable so you can enjoy your time away and come back to a clean and tidy home - just as you left it - and your pets, very happy and content. Read more...
