Carien and myself are a young, newlywed couple who are moving down to Wollongong for 2016 due to Carien receiving a dancing contract with Austinmer Dance Theatre at Fairy Meadow. We have lived together in Virginia, Brisbane since we were married in June, 2015. We have rented a small, one bedroom flat in the backyard of a good friend's property. I love to surf, dance, cook, read and consume great coffee. Carien loves to dance, cook, ride and play sport. Together we are quite a social couple, we are usually out and about for most of the weekend. We also seek to be involved in a local church wherever we are, at this stage we are planning on attending the Wollongong PRC at Dapto.

We seek to be a creative couple who look for 'out-of-the-box' opportunities in all areas of life. Housesitting is a great way to save money and therefore free up our lives to do the things we really love. Carien also has a real love for dogs as she has grown up with two Labrador's in New Zealand and misses them greatly since moving to Brisbane.

We are a very respectful and courteous couple. We have a great relationship with our Landlord in Brisbane and will be happy to provide his phone number if any homeowners would like to call him for a reference. We have recently travelled to Europe for nine weeks, staying mostly at Airbnb stays where we sought to leave the homes in a better state than what we found them in, only receiving positive reviews from all our hosts.
