Working for a not-for-profit organisation, as a program manager, has me working from various locations across metropolitan Melbourne. It could find me spending 5 weeks in Cranbourne, 6 months in Footscray or a week in Ringwood. Since my lease concluded in November I have cared for various proerties in Officer, Eildon. Maribynong and Edithvale for friends, referrals and company clients. I have found my professional and personal needs suit a permanent role as a house-minder with its flexibility of location and rewarding relationships.

I'm Andrew, a 37 year old male with a passion for cinema, photography and the outdoors with a particularly love of all things gardening. I understand first hand the level of care a well developed or exotic garden requires and eagerly accept assignments with gardens that need extra time and attention.

Further to your garden and home the family pet is most welcome to join me in your absence and enjoy the added company and companionship. I have been around animals my whole life including cats, various dogs with years of breeding cockatiels and I am no stranger to pet care or the importance of fresh water in their bowl.

Making sure your home is the same on your return as when you left goes without saying as I am responsible for everything and everything has its place, everything is clean and everything is yours.

I require little from my hosts except clear and concise instructions covering:
- Specifics, if required, covering security/alarms, hot-water, air-con, oven/dishwasher, pool filter etc.
- Bin Collection, Mail Collection including forwarding.
- Preferred housekeeping ie. Curtains and blinds, external lighting.
- Garden care and maintenance.
- Pet care including medication and exercise needs.
- Emergency Contacts including a neighbor.
- Any unique quirks about your home such as existing leaks, rival local pets or the trick that opens the side gate.

I treat each assignment as an extension of my professional life with diligence, organisation, communication and respect.
