Hello we are Ian and Dorothy, a Responsible and Caring Mature Age Couple.
A little about ourselves and the reason you are looking at this.
Firstly, Dorothy has a very restless soul and is always looking for the next thing to do and the next place to visit and the next experience to find. Ian, for the sake of sanity always willingly agrees to go along too.
Ian was an Academic at a university in Brisbane CBD. He leads an active life, walking up to 10 kms daily and attending the local gym. He is a JP with an interest in our community. He is a motorcyclist and enjoys his social rides with the Logan Ulysses Club, of which he was president. He is a committee member of Springwood (Qld) Probus Club and Logan Ulysses Club.
Dorothy has retired from full-time work in the banking industry. She enjoys socialising with friends and has an interest in all sorts of arts and crafts. Dorothy is actively involved with the committees of both
Sunnybank VIEW and Springwood Probus Clubs.
What can we offer: having owned 10 acre property for many years with a variety of animals we had a wonderful life when our two sons were young.
We have had to say goodbye to our little dog after 15 years and have decided at this stage not to replace her, but with the option to housesit with pets will satisfy our needs to love a little pet once more.
We used Mindahome House-Sitters when we travelled in the past and now would like to reciprocate, albeit maybe Dorothy on her own, sometimes.
Our preference for a longer term commitment would be Tasmania from December to February, but can consider other places and times.
