We are Ali & Ronald and we are ‘YourPlace MyPlace HouseSitters’!

Are you planning to take a holiday, but you are a little worried about the security of your home and someone trustworthy who will actually take care of your home and your pet(s)?

We have been housesitting for a while now after deciding to sell our own home, travel and have a well-deserved adventure. It was with this thinking that housesitting fell into our laps, and we were asked to babysit our good friend’s pets while she went overseas, and as the story goes, it grew from there. We love this journey and the freedom it brings for both YOU and us. We hope that we can be of service to your home, your family and your pets.

Below are some important facts about us….

1. A COMMITTED COUPLE!
Ali is from New Zealand & Ronald is a Dutchman...and we are happily married. We enjoy movies, good food, getting out in the fresh air and getting to know new and nice people. We are friendly, easy to talk to and of a mature age (both young oldies or older youngsters so to speak)

2. PROFESSIONALS
Hardworking and reliable professionals. Ali has enjoyed the past 20 years as a Visual Merchandiser. Ronald has spent the last 15 years in Corporate Sales & Marketing roles in the world of hospitality, working for 4 and 5 star hotels.
After a career change he is now working in Real Estate.

3. CHORES THAT ARE NOT CHORES!
We are both animal lovers and can look after most type of pets! We were both lucky to grow up with many pets, so if your dog needs walking we will walk them daily! Dogs need exercise and so do we! If you have cats or any other pets then we will give them as much attention as possible! We have minded Muriel and Ethel, 2 chickens, and we even talk to plants and fish if so needed.

4. TREAT YOUR PLACE LIKE MY PLACE!
We are both homebodies and extremely house-proud. Over the past 20 years, we have renovated houses and Ronald is an extremely competent handyman and has a great eye for detail. We aim to give you absolute peace of mind while you are away, knowing that your home and pets are receiving a premium level of care. We are happy to text photos and messages while you are away so that you won’t be homesick.

5. AIRPORT DROP OFF & PICK-UP SERVICE
We can help with transport to/from airport if needed.

6. LOCATION & DURATION
We reside in Brisbane currently and we are looking for a housesitting opportunity in and around Brisbane. Should you require any location outside of this, please contact us.

Housesitting assignments range from a 2-week minimum stay up to a 12-month period! We will fit in with your requirements as much as possible! To check available dates, please contact us as soon as possible when you know your dates during which you will be away.

6. REFERENCES
For your peace of mind, we are happy to supply you with a National Police Check, references from previous housesitting jobs and character references. So don’t worry,... should you require any further information, just ask us. Not a problem!
