About this house sitting position in Alexandra Headland
- A three bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1 carpark apartment in a complex of 11. Panoramic 180 degree views of the Alexandra Headland and beach facing north towards Maroochydore and beyond (all the way up to Noosa). Ideally we'd like our bedroom/ensuite to not be used during your stay but this is not a deal breaker. The bedroom/bathroom in the photo's is the primary accommodation and the 3rd bedroom is set up as an office which your welcome to use.
- You would also be looking after our 11 year old (Griffon/Pug cross) dog. His name is Cooper and he weighs just under 5 kilo's. He is a lovely natured dog and just loves company. He needs a small walk twice a day for exercise/toileting but otherwise is very low maintenance. I wouldn't want him left by himself for more than 4 hours at any one time ... but he loves going out and seeing new things and people with you.
His ideal daily routine looks like this:
- First thing (between 5-7am) walkies around one block max. for exercise and toileting. Home for breakfast (he loves his food).
- Mid morning (circa 10.30am). A quick visit to the street berm (maybe walk 4 houses down and back) for any toileting needs. Gets a treat at the end.
- Lunch time treat (banana).
- Mid afternoon (circa 3.00pm) walkies around one block max. for exercise and toileting. Its often too hot, so there is a shorter 10 min stroll I take him which is shaded and often gets a breeze. Home for treat.
- Dinner time (5.30pm). Exciting time of the day for him.
- Just before bedtime (circa 8pm) A final quick visit to the street berm (maybe walk 4 houses down and back) for any toileting needs. Gets a treat at the end.
He loves sleeping in the bedroom on his own mat. He will sleep all night and wait for you to get up. He does snore .. quietly. Note if it is raining outside, getting him toileted requires a little more creativity. We often hop into the car and drive 3 minutes down the road to outdoor undercover shops and carparking where he can do his business. Being the Sunshine Coast, this doesn't happen that often.
