About this house sitting position in Annandale

We had some house-sitters organised, but have just found out that they are now unable to come to Townsville, due to a sudden and serious illness.

We have a four bedroom home in a lovely suburb in Townsville. The house is low maintenance. It is fully air-conditioned and has a salt water pool (both very necessary for our humid summer months!). It is a 5 minute walk to the nearby river and a 15 minute drive to the beachfront. There are lots of nice cafes and restaurants within a short driving distance and Magnetic Island is 20 minutes away by ferry.

We have two small dogs who like to spend their time inside when we are home. The dogs are no trouble at all and just need daily pats, breakfast, dinner and the occasional bath. They are getting older (now 11 and 13 years old) and aren’t really up to walks anymore, especially in Summer. They enjoy being in their own home and we would much rather have a house sitter than put them in a kennel. We also have a cat who lives outside and who drops by for dinner each night. You would hardly see her at all.
